A custom-made study/library in St-Paul-de-Vence

Our client needed a very large study/library to store his many books of art and photography. At the top, we designed a large bookcase out of cherrywood with fixed shelves of 35mm thickness to support the weight of the books.
In the lower part, drawers allow to store many camera lenses, as well as all office papers and other accessories. Behind a door there are two sliding shelves for the scanner and printer. The facades have a modern moulding of our design. It brings relief to the furniture and gives it an authentic spirit. They are made in medium with warm grey lacquer finish.
The design of the office is inspired by a photo of our client’s sailboat, it accurately reproduces the lines of the aft curve of the boat’s hull.
